About us

The RDCA was established in 2015 as a research and development centre for the automotive industry. The daughter companies of the MATADOR Group have created the R&D centre with aim to cover internal R&D activities within the Group. Furthermore, one of the RDCA core competencies is to provide a background for development of innovative ideas and applications with a wide scale exploitation potential in the automotive and non-automotive industries. The RDCA operates as a non-profit organisation, financed by commercial projects and supported by EU Funds.

RDCA focuses on four distinctive areas:

  • Industrial Automation
  • Forming
  • Special Purpose Machinery
  • Information and Communication Technologies

Each of these areas includes R&D activities and innovative applied engineering services. The aim is to enable direct transfer of innovative ideas resulting from core R&D activities, covering mainly MATADOR Group research topics, to innovation, provided for different industries, including external customers.
